There are many people within the North Hampshire community who do not feel comfortable returning to the Hospice; have only received care in their own home through our Hospice at Home team; or in fact have never had any experience with the Hospice but would still like to remember their loved one. With our community trees, these people can still make a dedication to their loved one, without the pressure of feeling they need to attend the Hospice or the Light Up a Life service. They are then free to visit the tree that they have made their dedication on whenever they wish to.
Our community trees will be based in:
- Basingstoke Top of Town (from November 15th)
- Basingstoke Festival Place
- Hook (from November 29th)
- Alton (from November 22nd)
- Four Marks (from December 15th)
- Overton (from November 30th)
- Whitchurch (from November 30th)
Further details can be found on the map below:
Each dedication on our community trees is not only a beautiful way of remembering your loved ones, but it also acts as crucial donation to our Hospice; ensuring we can continue to provide the care and support those in our community need at their most vulnerable.
*Please note, that while a specific light will not be allocated to each dedication you make, one of the lights on your chosen tree will be a tribute to your loved one, and which light it is can be completely decided by yourself.
