Light up a Life

Light up a Life is a special way to remember and celebrate the life of a loved one. By dedicating a light on one of our trees, you’ll not only be shining a light in their memory, you’ll also be helping families in need of our care.

The Light up a Life event will take place on Sunday 8 December in the Hospice grounds, and we would love for you and your family to join us. You are welcome to arrive from 4pm to enjoy a hot drink and mince pie, view the Light up a Life messages, and purchase some gifts.

The service will begin at 5pm and is a time to come together to share stories and reflect on cherished moments; as well as light candles in remembrance of those dear to us. There will also be beautiful music sung by local choirs, heartfelt readings, and a moment of silence to reflect. Regardless of whether your loved one has received care from St. Michael’s Hospice or not, we invite you to use Light up a Life to come together with friends and family to celebrate their life and honour their memory.

Car parking is available opposite the hospice at Parklands Hospital, Aldermaston Rd, Basingstoke RG24 9RH. You do not need tickets for this event and we look forward to welcoming you on the day.
